1. Introduction
MyNotifyAssist ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website, mobile application, and notification services.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect:
- Account data: name, email address, phone number, and password (hashed) when you register.
- SMS opt-in data: when you opt in to SMS notifications (optional checkbox at registration or when verifying a mobile number), we collect and store your mobile phone number to deliver verification codes and the reminders or alerts you schedule. Your number is transmitted to our SMS delivery providers (e.g. Twilio) only to send those messages on our behalf. We do not use your phone number for third-party marketing. You may withdraw SMS consent by replying STOP to any message or updating preferences in Account Settings → Privacy. See also our SMS Messaging Terms.
- Notification and calendar data: scheduled tasks, messages, dates and times, and channel usage so we can send notifications and show your calendar view.
- Connection data: names and contact details of people you connect with for sending notifications.
- Service requests and quotes: content you submit via the app or contact form.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and similar data for security and analytics.
- Mobile app subscription data: subscription/entitlement status from our subscription management provider (on behalf of Apple App Store and Google Play), including an app user id used for subscription linking.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our notification, calendar, and scheduling services.
- Authenticate you (e.g. login, OTP verification).
- Send service-related communications (e.g. plan confirmation, reminders).
- Process payments when you upgrade plans (payment data may be handled by third-party payment gateways).
- Manage mobile app subscriptions and entitlements (including via our subscription management provider and the Apple/Google billing systems).
- Respond to service requests and quote requests and improve support.
- Enforce acceptable use and comply with legal obligations.
4. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers (e.g. delivery partners for SMS, email, and voice; payment processors; and subscription/billing platforms) only as needed to operate the service. Recipient phone numbers or email addresses are shared with delivery providers only to send the notifications you schedule.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data (encryption, secure authentication). You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
6. SMS Messaging
We send SMS only with your explicit consent. At registration you may optionally agree to receive SMS for verification codes and service notifications; this consent is separate from accepting our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy and is not required to create an account or use the service. When you add or verify a mobile number, we ask for separate consent before sending a one-time verification code.

7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To request deletion or a copy of your data, contact us via Contact Us.
8. Cookies and Tracking
We may use cookies and similar technologies for session management and to improve the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
