Connections
Connections are the people you trust to take part in your account: family, friends, or colleagues. Someone sends you a request. You accept or decline. Until you accept, they cannot send reminders on your behalf. After you accept, they can schedule a notification for you, and you can remove that access whenever you want. You stay in control of who is allowed to reach you through MyNotifyAssist.
That is different from typing someone’s phone number as a recipient on a single reminder. A connection is an ongoing relationship. It is also how teams are built: team members are connections you have grouped together. On plans that include Notes, connections can be the people you share a note with. The same list of trusted people therefore supports reminders, team alerts, and optional note sharing, instead of three separate address books.
You can invite people and they can invite you. Accept only the requests you recognize. If a relationship changes, remove the connection and future sends on your behalf stop. Your own reminders, expenses, and notes stay on your account either way. Connections do not see your password, your payment details, or notes you have not shared.
Use Connections when someone else is better placed to remember for you: a parent managing medicine times, a colleague covering a meeting, or a partner tracking a household date. They still send through MyNotifyAssist, on SMS, WhatsApp, email, or a call, and you can see those reminders in your calendar. Download the app or register, then accept the first request only from someone you know.
Start with one person, not a long list. Send a request, wait for them to accept, and try a single reminder so both of you can see how it arrives. If you later need a group, those same people can be added to a team without inviting them again. Shared expenses can use the same trusted names when you want a joint ledger. The connection list is the common directory, and each feature still asks you to choose what that person is allowed to do.
